Respondent was reciprocally suspended from the practice of law in Pennsylvania for a period of three months, for like discipline imposed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey by Order dated October 4, 2004.
The New Jersey Supreme Court imposed a three-month suspension as a result of Respondent’s violating several New Jersey RPC’s, namely NJ RPC 4.1(a)(2)(failure to disclose a material fact to a third party when disclosure is necessary to avoid assisting a fraudulent act by a client), NJ RPC 8.4(a)(violation of the rules of professional conduct), NJ RPC 8.4(c)(conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation), and NJ RPC 8.4(d)(conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice).
In the Pennsylvania proceeding, Office of Disciplinary Counsel and Respondent filed a Joint Petition to Reciprocally Suspend an Attorney, which the Supreme Court granted.
