| Case Digest |
Respondent was transferred to inactive status in July 1999 for failure to comply with Continuing Legal Education requirements, and thereafter he held himself out as an attorney, provided legal advice to three clients, sat as an arbitrator, appeared in court and participated in a real estate settlement as attorney-in-fact. He did not or comply with Pa.R.D.E. 217 or desist from these activities despite a subsequent reminder from the Disciplinary Board. Because of limited time frame and activities, HC and DBoard recommended 6 mo. suspension, which was imposed. (However, as Respondent has been inactive for more than three years, he will have to petition for reinstatement.) |
