Respondent, who was admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, was suspended in the District of Columbia by Order of their Court of Appeals dated October 20, 2005. This suspension was for a period of one (1) year. This suspension was based on violations of District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct, which are substantially similar to Pennsylvania Rules 1.2(a), 1.3, 1.4(a), 1.4(b), 1.15(a), 1.15(b)and 8.4(c)
On June 23, 2006, he was reciprocally suspended by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for a period of one (1) year, and directed to comply with Rule 217, Pennsylvania Rules of Disciplinary Enforcement.
