Respondent was reciprocally suspended, for like discipline imposed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey on September 9, 2002.
The New Jersey Supreme Court imposed a one year suspension for violations of the New Jersey RPC’s, as follows: RPC 1.3 (lack of diligence), RPC 1.5(c)(failure to prepare a written fee agreement), RPC 1.7(b)(conflict of interest), RPC 8.4(c)(conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation), RPC 1.8(e)(providing financial assistance to a client), RPC 1.15(b)(failure to promptly deliver funds of a third party), and RPC 1.16(d)(failure to comply with recordkeeping rules). A condition of that discipline is that within 120 days after reinstatement to practice, Respondent shall successfully complete six hours of courses in professional responsibility. |
