Upon consideration of the Disciplinary Board Report of March 11, 2009, the Supreme Court ordered Petitioner’s reinstatement by Order dated April 28, 2009. The Disciplinary Board’s Report noted that Petitioner, who had been suspended for 1 year and 1 day in April 2001 by the Supreme Court, had made various positive changes in his life since his suspension. Specifically, he had addressed issues of personal illness as well as exceptionally serious domestic discord. He had relocated to Florida, where he had maintained regular employment in various responsible positions, including stockbroker, advocate for the disabled, a juvenile detention facility case manager, and a court administrator.
These circumstances, as well as the passage of substantial time well in excess of his suspension, together with his efforts to fulfill his CLE course requirements and otherwise maintain his familiarity with the law, led the Board to recommend his reinstatement.
