New Jersey Supreme Court Offers Attorneys a Convenient Electronic Registration System and Discounted Annual Assessment for 2012
Pursuant to Rules 1:20-1(b) and (c), 1:28-2(a), 1:28B-1(e), and1:42-2(b), attorneys licensed to practice in New Jersey are annually required to pay an assessment and file a registration statement in a form prescribed by the Administrative Director with approval of the Supreme Court. The New Jersey Lawyers' Fund for Client Protection ("Fund") collects the assessment; the money collected supports the Fund, the disciplinary process, the Lawyers Assistance Program and the Board on Continuing Legal Education.
