Andrew J. Trevelise, Esquire, of Philadelphia, left the Board after expiration of his final term as a member of the Disciplinary Board. Mr. Trevelise was originally appointed to the Disciplinary Board in 2014 and was re-appointed in 2017. In August 2018, he was designated by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as Board Vice-Chair and then, in April 2019, as Disciplinary Board Chair.

During his time on the Disciplinary Board, Mr. Trevelise was named by the Board as Chair of the Rules Committee. Along with many other rule amendments implemented during his time as Rules Committee Chair, a rule was created to initiate an Emeritus license status. Mr. Trevelise presented on the topic of Emeritus on several occasions to attorneys in Pennsylvania and to the National Council of Lawyer Disciplinary Boards. Mr. Trevelise presented additional programs to Hearing Committee members, Board members, and other members of the profession around the Commonwealth. In part, Mr. Trevelise’s work as Board Chair can be found in the recently released 2019 Annual Report.

The Board extends its most sincere gratitude to Mr. Trevelise for his years of dedicated volunteer service on the Disciplinary Board.
