Disciplinary Board Issues Order Regarding Electronic Documents in Response to COVID-19

On April 7, 2020, the Disciplinary Board issued an Order in response to the novel Coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) regarding documents in informal and formal proceedings. Documents including but not limited to orders, notices, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence may be served electronically, unless personal service is required under Pa.R.D.E. 

Records of documents served electronically to a respondent-attorney and/or their counsel shall be maintained by the person, participant, or entity making such service. The date of service shall be the day the document is electronically transmitted.

The Order shall stay in effect until further Order of the Board.
